Mental Health - Love Advocacy - Gratitude
With much excitement, we are proud to announce that we are the lead organizer serving the Tallahassee community in ongoing pop-up community sessions focused on mental health, love advocacy, positive family engagement and art therapy.
Join Us! Saturday November 5th from 2 - 5 p.m. located at The Plant, 517 West Gaines Street .
Thank you Art.i.cuh for contributing to the event!
All community sessions will feature organizations to provide relevant information, energy and resources.
Those participating will have the opportunity to get the help they need and have a safe place to express, heal and transform.

Local Street Art Group believes it is crucial to equip communities to offer all youth access to extraordinary and enriching creative programs. Our vision to ignite the minds of others in order to inspire the next generation of amazing beings starts with directly working alongside youth and our community to ignite that spark.
By collaborating intentionally, we outfit invested leaders with quality talent, training and subject matter expertise to work hands on with the programs and activities.
Our program was created in response to the absence of and lack thereof:
➢ Positive engagement
➢ Self care and awareness
➢ Establishment of life skills and goal setting
➢ Depression and increase in suicidal attempts
➢ Entrepreneurship and career development
➢ Art expression and techniques
The 2020 pandemic and beyond is affecting families , our goal is to be the beacon of hope and light the youth participating in our workshops can count on every time we engage. Our program is designed to improve self discovery, confidence, literacy, mindfulness , critical thinking, positive human engagement and fueling students with success gems and wisdom tools.
Indirectly, the implementation of the program is expected to:
➢ Support an active learning environment
➢ Provide a balanced lifestyle for youth participants
➢ Effectively increase health, wellness and fitness for youth
➢ Potentially decrease juvenile crime
Corner store Mural Art Program
In every neighborhood expressing the personality of your community, amplifying the history of what it means to be where you are from and working with local creatives is how you build sustainable relationships for more art projects. Coming Spring 2022, we are launching our Corner store Mural Art Program. We will be collecting submissions of experienced mural artists and project managers.
